Tuesday April 24th Amalio Garcia's 3 year old Whiskey Rebellion, stalked a stakes caliber field of older, open allowance horses to prevail, and pay 6/1 odds, for those gamblers who backed him.Whiskey now is 3 for 3 here at the Mountain and seems to have lots of upside. As a two year old last year he started off his career at River Downs for trainer Akiko Gothard, with a score, at 41/2 furlongs, then on to Ellis where he made the lead and faded to finish 4th. In his first start this year for Garcia at TP, he lost his footing at the break and finished last. Next he reeled off his two and three life allowance conditions here, at Mountaineer with ease.  Just an oustanding effort from him in his last and third start here, to beat the stakes winner Harlan Street, makes him an interesting 3year old to add to your stable mail, or watch to see where his racing career goes from here.(A possible stakes horse in the making?)
